Saint Louis, MO- Today Joan Barry released the following statement in response to the endorsement.


" I am honored to have, and greatly welcome the support of the Carpenters' District Council of Greater Saint Louis.  They have been key to many political victories here in Missouri and we look forward to working closely with them throughout the duration of the race."

Executive Secretary-Treasurer Terry Nelson stated, " Mrs. Barry has been a staple in the Saint Louis organized labor movement and helped us significantly while she was in the legislature. We are excited to support her and plan on providing the resources she needs to win in November."

The Barry campaign continues to build its grassroots organization for the fall election and welcomes the Carpenters' volunteer base/support into the campaign.
